Healthier Soulz, LLC is a enterprise that was created to help promote healthier lifestyles for people in communities across Chicago. With obesity rates in the state of Illinois being close to 32%* and 61.2%* of that population residing in the City of Chicago, Founder & CEO, Dexter Guthrie (Chef Dex) is committed to educating people on how to eat, live and be healthy! Our mission is to engage youth and families in underserved communities (and beyond) to help them reach their healthiest state of being in mind, body and soul.

Healthier Soulz, LLC strives to accomplish it’s mission by partnering with community schools, organizations , businesses and leaders to provide education, live demonstrations and classes on healthier alternatives for eating and living. Chef Dex envisions that by 2030, Healthier Soulz, LLC will be one of the premier organizations in Chicago with visibility in surrounding cities, that will contribute to the reduction of obesity rates amongst youth and families. Striving to have a positive impact on the health of others one soul at a time!

Join the Movement: Let’s Build Healthier Communities Together If you’re a parent, teacher, community leader, or business owner, I invite you to join us in making food education a priority. Every workshop, session, and community event is a step toward a healthier, stronger community – and I believe that change starts with every small action we take. Together, let’s make food education a powerful tool for community health. Let’s inspire our youth, support our families, and build a legacy of wellness, one bite at a time.
